Private Events Leader

Job Description: The Private Events Hospitality Leader of Gracie’s Ventures ensures the excellence, creativity, brand promise, and profitability of Gracie’s and Ellie’s events. This person will serve as an ambassador of Gracie’s Ventures to the public, increasing brand awareness and growing the Event Program.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Respond to all event and catering inquiries promptly by the following business day.

Work with Gracie’s Ventures leadership to create new offerings and packages to increase sales and profitability.

Communicate with the appropriate departments when new events are booked, ensuring accurate execution.

Given the circumstances and best judgment when assessing staffing, working hands-on during such events may be required.

Organize networking and outreach dinners to create positive relationships with local hotels, vendors, and organizations.

Represent Gracie’s Ventures at networking events, bridal shows, and industry trade shows.

Work with clients to detail and customize events for social events.

Oversee the proper use and training of TripleSeat while processing payments and deposits for catering orders through this software

Foster relationships with clients who book events to maintain a catalog of repeat business while prospecting for new events.

Attend weekly team meetings to discuss new events and team goals and concerns.

Ensure accurate accounting, contracting, detailing, and invoicing of all private events.

Create strong collaborative partnerships with the community's third-party planners, producers, and destination management companies.

Help lead the team to problem-solve, lend support, and drive sales goals together.

Adhere to labor budget and sales goals, reviewed every quarter in line with any given season.

Train the events team side by side on the proper steps of service.

Collaborate with Gracie’s and Ellie’s Hospitality Leaders on the execution of events and scheduling of teammates.

Hiring Requirements

Preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Events Management, Sales, or similar field of study.

3+ years of event coordination, department administrative assistance, client services.

Collaborative attitude with an emphasis on excellent service and guest experience.

Compensation

This position is a sales position, with a yearly salary supplemented by the commission of 6% based on food and beverage sales. Salary compensation is determined by experience and performance. Additional compensatory packages and options are at the discretion of the Proprietor and determined every year. Base salary starting at $50,000 (expected range of $70,000-$75,000: includes base + 6% commission)
