The Bohlin is looking for a Sales Manager to join the team.

About the Position: In the Sales Manager role you will be responsible for generating private dining sales.
About You: You are passionate, energetic and to whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for generating private dining sales within designated market segments and corporate catering and rooms sales
Actively prospect and qualify/close new business. Handle new inquiries and rebook existing business
Have full knowledge of private dining and catering menus as well as well as food and beverage offerings in the restaurants
Have full knowledge of booking parameters and function room specifications
Conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, prepare event costing summaries, write proposals, prepare and collect invoices
Maintain high level of knowledge of major competitors
Conduct ongoing outside sales calls
Detail and service definite business. Up-sell F&B and other revenue streams during detailing process.
Weekly distribution of accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders, Event Previews and attend weekly BEO meetings
Work with culinary and operations departments to ensure event success
Maintain accurate databases in both Harbor Force and Visual One
Maintain and distribute weekly revenue forecast and pace reports for private dining
Attend and participate in internal and industry Meetings and Events, which may take place prior to or after business hours
Attend events as needed to meet and greet client and ensure all details are setup to expectation
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of event coordination experience in the food-beverage-hospitality industry.
Experience with high-end weddings and customized events required
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong administrative skills, organized and detail oriented and prepared to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume, aggressive sales atmosphere
Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation $50,000-$52,000/ Plus Commission!
