Sous Chef

REDS KITCHEN is looking to hire and experienced Sous Chef with strong work ethics to help set and maintain a high standard of cuisine and professionalism. The sous chef would over see operations at our Seekonk Pizza Kitchen, Swansea Sandwich Shop, Food Truck, and Wedding Catering units. Applicants will be asked to work all locations based on scheduling needs. Bar Tending Shifts available to those with interest in additional hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ordering all necessary supplies.

Oversee FOOD PRODUCTION for all units (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, etc.)

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Answer, report to and follow chef’s instructions

Ensure cleanliness of all operations.

Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

Applicants should demonstrate a passion for ingredients, technique, discipline, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Ideal applicants will also show that they work well with others and support positive teamwork within the kitchen.

Two or more years of line experience is preferred.

Ideal applicants will possess a strong desire to learn and a positive attitude.
