We are looking for a Full Time Facilities Assistant and Cleaning person to join our company in Smithfield. This position will report to the Operations Manager. This person will be responsible for cleaning the office spaces, bathrooms, and kitchen areas and will also assist with minor repairs to the facility and grounds.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen areas, offices, cubicles and warehouse daily
Remove trash and recycle on a regular basis
Assist with the maintenance requests from the company
Assist with minor repairs and painting
Assist in maintenance of grounds
Assist with assembly, relocation and removal of cubicles and furniture
Assist with setting up tables and chairs for events
Assist with breaking down after events
Learn to use a bailing machine
Assist with Snow removal when necessary
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Ability to stand/walk for entire shift, except during breaks and lunch
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs with no restrictions
Ability to communicate with all levels of team members and management
Ability to read and understand correct use of cleaning solvents
Ability to read and understand assembly instructions
Knowledge of hand tools
Ability to stand on ladders
Reliable transportation
Ability to work an early shift if necessary
