The Providence Journal is currently recruiting RELIABLE and DEDICATED Independent Contractors for newspaper routes
Our customers look forward to receiving their paper 365 days/year – rain, sleet or snow. As a contractor, you have the right to personally perform the deliveries and have the ability to arrange & compensate a subcontractor to complete deliveries in your absence.
Our customers expect to have their papers by 6AM Monday through Saturday & 7:30AM Sunday. Once you are done, you have the rest of your day to enjoy!
A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance is required by law if you plan to make deliveries by motor vehicle; a cell phone may be helpful for navigating at night. If you are unable to perform, or choose not perform, you are contractually obligated to ensure performance by, for example, having reliable back up transportation or engaging a subcontractor to perform.
Your revenue potential is up to you! The more routes & papers you timely deliver pursuant to the customer’s requests, the more money you will make!
