Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish on both residential and commercial projects. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing environments.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain the quality of work.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry, drywall installation, masonry, and industrial painting techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Overnight stay overnight when traveling to Connecticut
Overtime
Weekends as needed
Experience:
Residential painting: 2 years (Required)
Commercial painting: 2 years (Required)
Ability to Commute:
Rhode Island and Connecticut
Work Location: Depending on the site
Must have transportation
