The equipment painter will be responsible for the preparation, priming and painting industrial equipment. Preparation includes washing oil off of steel parts prior to sanding, air sanding, a second wash after sanding and plugging holes and taping. A good portion of the day will be spent on the preparation stage. Occasional bondo and light sanding may be required.

Following preparation, the painter will be responsible for correctly measuring and mixing primer and paint per the instructions provided. The painter will then prime the parts, and paint the parts after the primer has dried. Occasional spray can painting will be required.

The painter will be responsible for keeping an inventory of preparation supplies and paint, and relaying required purchases to management. The painter will be responsible for keeping the booth cleaned and organized.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years working in a Spray booth environment, and will be able to work efficiently and effectively to deadlines.
