Dock Office, Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, RI is looking for a friendly, hospitable and responsible person with marina, customer service, and/or food and beverage experience to handle dock office administrative work and host/hostess during events for the Summer 2024 Season (May until mid-October). We are located on 170 Wellington Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. Be the first point of contact for members and guests as the arrive or call in to the Club. Handle reservations for moorings, dock space, boats, dining and events. Assist Front of House operations during events in the Club House. Some boating knowledge/experience preferred,but not required. Some customer service/office experience preferred. Some food & beverage experience preferred. This is a full time position, with multiple shifts 7 days a week, morning to mid day and mid day to early evening. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
