Office Assistant

Currently seeking a professional, friendly Office Assistant to fill a position with an Insurance company in the Rhode Island area. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years office experience for an insurance company and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities of the Office Assistant
● Meet & greet visitors
● Answer and pass telephone calls from a multi-line telephone system
● Update system information
● Produce client communication
● Fax, file and copy
● Maintain a professional front office
● Handle other support functions as required
Requirements of the Office Assistant
● High school diploma or GED
● Strong communication skills
● 1-3 years Receptionist experience working within an office setting
● Insurance experience is a plus
● Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
● Professional demeanor
● Intermediate typing skills
● Customer service skills
● Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout RI as needed
