Due to recent expansion efforts and substantial growth, KSI Auto Parts is looking for new delivery drivers based out of our Franklin,MA location. The ideal driver candidate would have previous driving and warehouse experience. The driver will be responsible for driving one of our delivery vehicles which are typically a cargo van or like vehicle. Our drivers are responsible for the loading of the vehicle and dropping of parts to various body shops throughout Suffolk and Nassau county. During the delivery of parts drivers are also responsible for collecting payment from customers and handling returns or other customer service related aspects. If you are a person who likes interacting with people throughout the day, driving a vehicle and being part of a first-class team, this is the ideal role for you.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic and safety regulations
-Work day is typically Monday thru Friday during normal business hours
-Properly maintain vehicle by updating vehicle maintenance records and reporting issues as they arise
-Properly load truck with customer orders for specified delivery route -Check all products prior to departure for signs of damage and product accuracy -Maintains proper documentation during deliveries to note any discrepancies or customer concerns
-When applicable, collect payment via check, cash or credit card as required
-Properly handle customer returns with required documentation and process back at company locations
-Gathers Quick Market Intelligence for the company as directed
-Complies with all company policies and procedures
-Follows direction of immediate supervisors and other company management
-Education and Experience: -High School Diploma or GED
-1 to 3 years of driving or warehouse experience
-Clean Motor Vehicle Record
-Ability to pass drug test
-Must be at least 21 years old
