We are looking for multiple applicants to join our motivated Solar sales team starting out as a Door to Door canvasser. You’ll be responsible for prospecting potential customers, at their residence, that would likely benefit from switching to solar energy. To excel in this role, you should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a solid sales background, and the ability to effectively communicate information about our products. The ideal Canvasser is someone who can establish genuine connections with people, promoting our company's products or ideas in a persuasive yet non-aggressive manner.
Responsibilities:
Memorize and deliver sales scripts and statements provided by the employer.
Drive to designated canvassing locations.
Approach and engage people at their homes, sharing information about the company and the product.
Demonstrate knowledge of the product and aim to influence opinions positively.
Gather personal information to set solid appointments.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Achieve set quotas established by the company.
Attend weekly sales meetings to sharpen your skills (Location: Warwick, RI)
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience as a Canvasser is a plus.
Sales experience is preferred, but not needed
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively sell ideas or products and influence opinions.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Comfortable working outdoors.
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.

Salary: Setting your personal salary goal is crucial to success in this position. Our Sales Canvassers are encouraged to set goals of at least $100,000/year (roughly $8300/month)
