Duties and Responsibilities for Massage Therapist (Simple & easy!):
Be on time for appointments and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law
Have knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
Maintains neat, clean, sanitary and professional work areas including but not limited to treatment areas & dispensary
Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with our polices.
Maintain good composure and objectivity under pressure
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
Maintain a positive attitude & respect other staff members and clients
Requirements and Qualifications:
State of RI Massage Therapy license is in good standing
Has valid insurance
Work experience as a massage therapist
Schedule flexibility, including weekends and evenings
Exceptional customer service skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to manage time well and prioritize work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.50 - $77.50 + tips
Expected hours: 10 – 32 per week (flexible)
Schedule:
4 - 8 hour shift
Day shift
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
