About Us:

At Anchor Orthodontics, we are more than just an orthodontic practice; we are a family dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and unforgettable experiences for our patients. Our team is bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and a love for fun, making our workplace a joyous environment for everyone.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the team member taking photographs and x-rays for patients before they start treatment and when they finish treatment, you are the cheerleader for the patient's exciting orthodontic journey with braces or Invisalign! Initial responsibilities will include:

-Taking patient photographs: We will train you from the ground up on how to use a camera and cheek retractors to photograph both photos of the patient's faces as well as their teeth. It is a set series of photographs we always take at the start, sometimes in the middle, and at the completion of orthodontic treatment. We will provide you with an online training course to learn the basics, followed by in-person training on our team members to get comfortable with the techniques before learning to take these photographs on our patients. We use Canon digital SLR camera for our patient photography.

-Taking patient x-rays: We will have you take a two week course at CCRI on taking x-rays for our patients. We will pay for the course and this will give you the appropriate certification to be able to take them on our patients. We will also continue to guide you in-office with our specific equipment until you are comfortable to begin taking them on patients.

-Sterilization: We will pay for your OSHA training as well as your CPR certification so that you can learn from our team how to appropriately disinfect chairs and instruments, and run our instruments through the sterilization process.

-Documenting exciting moments in the office for our patients: Starting and finishing orthodontic treatment brings a lot of emotions! We see both kids and adults, and provide braces as well as Invisalign. We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun, energetic person for this position so that you can join the patient's excitement to start and complete orthodontic treatment!

We'll teach you how to use an iPhone to capture these incredible moments on video as patient's see themselves for the first time with braces, or for the first time after completing their treatment.

Being a patient cheerleader to get them excited about their orthodontic journey: We have a rewards program we are rolling out for our patients where they are able to choose from exciting swag and dental items in our "swag room" at the start and completion of their treatment. You'll have the opportunity to be in charge of getting patients excited for these opportunities and sharing the experience with them!
