Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of auto body repair, including but not limited to:
- Heavy lifting and moving of vehicle parts
- Mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble vehicles
- Applicants must have general automotive repair tools prior to employment
- Use power tools and equipment to repair and replace damaged parts
- Welding and fabrication as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and quality requirements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:
-Perform all aspects of body repair for a vehicle involved in collisions ( prep/ repair/ block and priming)
-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicles with precision
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment for repairs
- Welding experience for structural repairs
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying methods for a seamless finish
- Previous experience as an auto body technician or mechanic preferred
- Experience working in a dealership or collision repair center is a plus
