Skills/Qualifications:
1. Able to diagnose, install, or repair all types of commercial & industrial steam, hot water and electric boilers, burners, furnaces, condensing boilers, water heaters, unit heaters and rooftop units, etc. As well as piping and related components.
2. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical equipment, digital process and automation controls a plus.
3. Pipefitting knowledge and experience a plus.
4. Able to dismantle malfunctioning equipment and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment.
5. Able to provide boiler service including pre-heating season start up, commissioning, annual maintenance per manufacturer specs, repair and shutdown of boiler system. Provide reports and combustion analysis.
6. Able to read and understand equipment specifications, blueprints, plans, schematics.
Commercial Heating Service typically services & install on a every day basis, commercial & industrial boilers, burners, furnaces, water heaters, unit heaters, waste-oil heaters, rooftop units, burner controls, control values, motors, VFD Drives, heat exchangers, circulator & pumps, fuel oil equipment, gas train repairs, pipe leaks, replace boiler sections, stack & breaching, refractory repairs, and related components for steam, hydronic, condensing & electric systems.
