Looking for an experienced embroidery machine operator that knows how to operate a Tajima single head embroidery machine.
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating a single head embroidery machine to accurately embroider logos on garments and head wear, and is responsible for quality work while ensuring on-time delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare machine by placing spools of thread, inserting bobbins, changing and threading needles; securing attachments.
Hoop and secure on embroidery hoop.
Place hooped garment on machine; position under needles.
Adjust machine performance by adjusting settings, thread and bobbin tensions.
Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as machine malfunctions, defective stitching, or breaks in thread.
Remove hooped garment or head wear from machine.
Maintain quality by inspecting finished product.
Ensure operation of machine by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Keep area clean and neat.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous Embroidery Machine experience required.
Skills/Qualifications
Ability to follow verbal directions, read instructions in English, solve problems and perform quality control.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Repetitive use of hands, fingers and arms; fine dexterity skills a must.
Must be able to thread a needle
