We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and a strong commitment to job site safety and quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and more
Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections on machinery
Follow safety protocols and site regulations
Work closely with site supervisors and crew to complete projects on time
Perform light maintenance on equipment as needed
Qualifications:
Rhode Island Hoisting (2A)
Proven experience operating heavy equipment (2+ years preferred)
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
OSHA 10, 30, or 40- strongly preferred
Ability to read site plans and follow instructions
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Strong attention to detail and safety
