Autoland is a family-owned business in Coventry, R.I. that sells Pre-Owned vehicles. We do not do any outside repair work. You will be fixing the vehicles we purchase for the retail lot. You must have your own tools.
The hours are Monday thru Friday, no weekends. 9 to 5:30. Our shop is heated and airconditioned. You are responsible for making sure every vehicle is safe and will pass a safety inspection. We use Town Fair for tire replacement. We would love if every vehicle only needed an oil change and a set of brakes. Some vehicles need more than others; we do not sell junk. Our average pre-owned vehicle is $15,000 to $17,000. We specialize in American cars and trucks; we do not sell European vehicles.
Pay is based on experience. For the right guy $25 to $30 an hour. We have no problem paying an experienced guy. We have 3 operational lifts to use. Nobody is breathing down your neck here, relaxed work environment.
