Duties & Responsibilities:Executes repair and maintenance works of all HVAC equipment and systems in the hotel.Records daily logs of the critical equipment’s like chillers, FAHU’s, AHU’s ensuring proper operation of equipment.Assist the supervisors/ administrator in filing and documentation from responsible areas.Attends to maintenance, repair and troubleshoot of HVAC equipment and systems, such as FAHU’s, AHU’s, FCU’s, Exhaust Systems, Ventilation systems etc.Understand the hotel operation and be flexible with work schedules and timing, extend support in special occasions.Constructive feedbacks and updates to the seniors.Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.Assists Engineering Supervisors/ store in-charges to prepare spare parts lists for the any ventilation & air conditioning equipment.Participates in Energy conservation Programme.Ensures that the Plant Room, Workshop and related areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.Assist the team members whenever required.Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.Reports to the Duty Engineer/engineering supervisor/ Asst. Chief engineer.Build and maintain good relations within Engineering and other departments.Interacts and cooperates with guests and outside contractors as directed.Provide additional/ specialized services whenever requested.Attend on job / off job trainings when assigned.Follow the department and hotel policies and procedures.Strictly adhere the hotel safety, risk management and emergency policies and procedures.Requirements:Diploma/Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration.2+ years of similar experience in hotel or resort maintenance.Knowledge of central AC systems and split units.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
