Description We are looking for a meticulous Quality Control Manager to join our team in Rumford, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management and enhancement of our Quality Management System. You will also be expected to provide technical guidance across the organization, develop and implement key quality metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and enhance the Quality Management System Participate in daily production meetings as necessary Conduct internal departmental meetings as necessary Manage the Quality department, including coordinating daily activities and determining appropriate staffing levels Provide technical guidance to Quality Department, Manufacturing Operations, and other departments as required Develop, implement, and track key quality metrics Investigate and address areas where key quality metrics are not being met Implement corrective actions to ensure future success Apply Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Continuous Improvement principles and techniques to refine and enhance processes Interface with customers and suppliers (internal & external) Manage programs including CAPA, Continuous Improvement, Internal & External Audit, & MRB Ensure compliance with company policies and international standards that apply to our certification and QMS Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance. Requirements Proven experience in a Quality Control Manager role or similar. In-depth understanding of Defect Management processes. Demonstrable expertise in creating and implementing Quality Management (QM) systems. Solid knowledge of Documentation procedures within a Quality Control environment. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or a related field is preferred. Proficient in using quality control software and other relevant computer applications. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Willingness to keep up with new trends and best practices in the quality control field. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
