Job Description

Garage Headquarters is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team to help grow sales in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts region.

Responsibilities:

• Gain a strong understanding of our company’s products and be able to articulate to our customers the value-add of our experience and unmatched service.
• Works with the sales team on all aspects of sales from ground up - building a pipeline, research and managing relationships.
• Develop skills needed for a consultative sales approach and focus on solution selling.
• Prospecting RI & MA Builders, Architects and End User Service Accounts.
• Maintains a strong relationship with existing leads throughemail andphone correspondence.
• Work effectively across the departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Updating and maintaining all accounts in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. May also be responsible for running reports to track quotes and sales activity.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous sales or sales support experience with outbound/inbound call volume and is comfortable in opening discussions with prospective customers.
• Self-driven and positive attitude to thrive in a team-orientated environment with the desire to make an impact and exceed sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Result oriented team performer with the motivation and skill to assist in driving the sales process to meet long and short-term goals.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
