NRG Calcs is a South Carolina HVAC design organization performing ACCA Manual J, D and S calculations for regional builders, local custom home builders and HVAC contractors. This position will be a work at home position.
This position is for an experienced HVAC system designer with extensive knowledge using Wrightsoft.
The job functions include:
Must be comfortable with reading plans and analyzing the plans for the duct runs.
Ability to perform base Man J and D designs for regional home builders. These base files will include a detailed duct layout with projected worst case system sizing for multiple housing regions. The base files will be used to generate site specific Man J / D and S reports for each home to be built.
Ability to perform Man J and D designs for custom home builders. This will require the ability to communicate with the builder and HVAC contractor to provide recommendations on system sizing, zone recommendations, equipment locations, and duct routing. With the ability to modify designs as needed to accommodate framing challenges.
This will be a work from home position. NRG Calcs will provide all necessary electronics and subscriptions to complete the work. The candidate must be a self starter.
