Position Overview: We're looking for a skilled Semi Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our growing shop. You’ll work on a variety of semi truck engines and systems, with a focus on the following (2001-2015 models):
Cummins
Detroit
Caterpillar
Volvo
You’ll need to have a basic set of tools and the ability to use diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues. We’ll provide any special tools you need and ensure your diagnostic software stays updated.
What We Offer:
Starting Salary: $1,000 - $1,500 per week for a 40-hour workweek, with overtime paid at time and a half
Equipped Shop (Under-Going Renovation): 9 bays with compressors, welders, electricity, and many of the tools you need to get the job done
6-Month Trial Period as a 1099 subcontractor (with the option to become a W9 employee after 6 months)
Special Tools & Software: We’ll purchase any specialized tools or diagnostic software required to complete your work

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair semi truck engines, including systems for Cummins, Detroit, Caterpillar, and Volvo engines
Perform engine rebuilds, repairs, and maintenance to ensure long-term reliability
Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot issues and ensure proper functionality
Complete necessary paperwork for repairs, maintenance, and parts usage
Work as part of a team to meet shop goals and maintain safety standards
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working on diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Caterpillar, Volvo)
Comfortable using diagnostic software to troubleshoot and repair engines
Strong ability to rebuild engines from the ground up (preferred)
Basic set of tools required (we’ll provide any special tools needed)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
