We’re hiring an experienced Data Analyst to establish the business function. This is an opportunity to build upon your strong foundations across SQL, data warehouses, web analytics, dashboarding and stakeholder management to identify and deliver data led value across the business. You will have the opportunity to shape that Data Analytics function in a way that suits both your style and our needs. From day one, you will have the independence and responsibility to reduce bottlenecks, manual reporting, inconsistent answers and limited capacity to empower our teams with deep insights.What you’ll doYou’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Sales, Content and Subscriptions. Your responsibilities will include:Company dashboards and reporting - Design, build and maintain dashboards used by teams across the business whilst establishing single-source-of-truth reporting where possibleStakeholder enablement - Work directly with stakeholders to understand their reporting, insight and data needs, clarify the real business problem, and deliver practical analytics solutions that help teams make better decisions. You will be expected to operate independently, ask good questions and turn ambiguous requests into clear outputsAct as the go-to analytics partner for the Partnerships team, delivering partner-ready reporting and audience insights across web, email and campaigns to support renewals, upsells and stronger commercial conversations. Also support Product, Content and Subscriptions with clear, scalable reporting that improves decision-making and enables more effective self-serve access to dataWeb analytics and measurement quality - Lead and improve how we measure performance across Livewire Markets and Market Index. Work with Product and Engineering on measurement plans, event tracking, data layer requirements, tool configuration, instrumentation quality and data validation, then turn that data into dashboards and decision-ready analysisWhat success looks likeSenior stakeholders have confidence in the numbers, know where to go for trusted reporting, and can access clearer, faster answers without relying on Product leaders to manually pull reportsDashboards and reporting reduce repeat ad hoc requests by giving teams reliable self-serve access to the metrics they needFoster and enable more of an experimentation approach and improved use of data within our product and engineering teamPartner reporting becomes a commercial advantage - improving reporting quality, reducing manual effort and supporting renewal and expansion conversationsRicher audience and channel insights that help Product and Content improve traffic, repeat habits, recirculation and overall engagementStronger email and lifecycle analytics across the network, especially as Braze comes online.A stronger measurement foundation for subscriptions, promotions and funnel experiments, with clear baselines and readoutsMust-haves5+ years of relevant experienceDeep digital analytics knowledge, with expert-level GA4 experience and a strong understanding of event-based measurement, attribution limitations and best-practice reportingExperience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar platformsProven experience building, maintaining and improving dashboards and reports that non-technical stakeholders actively useStrong SQL and proven experience working directly with modern data warehouses and large datasets, such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks or similar.
