Reports to Regional Manager - HSE, Area Manager - HSE Execution or Manager - HSE.
Under close supervision, assists in the implementation of programs, policies, procedures and processes in support of the Company’s environmental strategies, including but not limited to; waste management, pollution prevention and waste minimization, permitting assistance, hazardous materials compliance, UST/AST compliance, air and water compliance issues and assistance with other general environmental tasks as defined by immediate superior.
Assignments are generally well defined with clear and specified objectives.
May assist in conducting training, assessments, inspection and audits.
Familiar with existing and proposed changes in environmental requirements.
Assists in providing technical advice to operations and shared services personnel.
May assist in the preparation of presentations and technical reports, as well as the interpretation of data, standards, codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years college required.
Undergraduate degree in a scientific field preferred,
1-3 years work experience.
Computer, research, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills required.
