Responsibilities will include:
Manage the exciting brands within the company on all social media platforms
Work closely with the manager to manage the company's social media accounts and post content.
Plan and manage content on multiple accounts on various online platforms for brands.
Grow organic followers on social media platforms and drive relevant traffic to the websites.
Formulate monthly performance reports that draw insights for future optimisation.
Ultimately, create a social media content strategy with the help of the team.
Have some understanding of Facebook Ads Manager and be willing to learn on this platform, with the aim to create and manage a social media advertising strategy.
Be ready to work closely with the team on PR crisis management should the need arise.
Keep a close eye on new social media trends that may suit the brands.
Repurpose existing content.
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric/Grade 12 Qualification.
Social Media Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills that translate well to social media platforms.
Strong copywriting skills and impeccable spelling and grammar. Extremely meticulous and passionate.
Be familiar with FB, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and more.
Knowledge of FB's Creator Studio is a must. Hootsuite, Later, Trello (advantageous).
Tech savvy and analytical.
Basic knowledge of how to read and analyze data - informing your decisions of what and when to post.
A working knowledge of Photoshop and Canva.
An understanding of content planning and management.
Strong organisational skills to enable you to manage and implement content across digital assets.
Deliver consistently high-quality creative content (text, image, and video).
Strong knowledge of social media marketing channels
Ultimately, oversee all social media initiatives and campaigns.
