Web Developer (JB873) Century City, Cape Town R25000 - R30 000 per month
Currently remote work for an indefinite period, however there could be a chance of moving back into an office environment dependent on the covid situation
Educational & Skills Requirements: 3-6 years’ work experience as a Web Developer. CMS experience. Bespoke website experience. Excellent CMS development skills (ideally WordPress). Bespoke theme development. Bespoke plugin development. Excellent UI & UX skills.
Competencies: PHP / React / Node.JS experience. Comfortable with web technologies. Git / Yarn Experience. Proficient in UX (Mock-ups, wireframes). Proficient in UI (Web Design, interactivity). Proficient in database use, both relational and non-relational. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Proficient in CMS (WordPress) development, maintenance, and administration. AWS DevOps experience. Proficient in creating appropriate build and release pipelines.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the development of websites including both front end (UX/UI) and back end (Services/APIs). Delivery and maintenance of the developed websites. Ensure code is functional, reliable and adhere to best practice. Implement marketing and design collateral on websites.
