If you are an experienced Food safety or HSE professional or looking to expand and develop your current safety skills as the successful candidate you will play a key role in managing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities for regional operations. Reporting directly to the site managers, you will work closely with site-based personnel to ensure the safety of all team members through risk assessments, safety programs, drills, food audits and meetings.Key responsibilities will include:Managing company and client-driven HSE activities and initiativesSupporting comprehensive incident investigations and reportingEnsuring Food Safety.  HACCP compliance knowledge (mandatory)Conducting HSE coaching, capability building, gap analysis, toolbox and pre-start meetings, as well as safety walksIdentifying hazards, implementing effective systems, policies, and procedures to continuously improve safety standardsLeading toolbox meetingsAbout You:
You are an experienced safety professional with a proven track record in senior safety roles, ideally within mining, civil, or facilities maintenance industries. You have a passion for fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and you thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment.  Your background may be HSE/ Food Manufacturing or Hospitality.To succeed in this role, you will need:Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (mandatory)Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)A current, full Manual Driver’s License for operating site vehiclesFamiliarity with ICAM and Root Cause Incident InvestigationStrong time management, teamwork, and relationship-building skillsAs an HSE Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:Managing company and client-driven HSE activities and initiativesSupporting comprehensive incident investigations and reportingEnsuring Food Safety.  HACCP compliance knowledge (mandatory)Conducting HSE coaching, capability building, gap analysis, toolbox and pre-start meetings, as well as safety walksIdentifying hazards, implementing effective systems, policies, and procedures to continuously improve safety standardsAbout You:
