Job Description

  • Working alongside the Managers implementing the buying and delivery of digital display, video, social & native campaigns in conjunction with the other executives, working collaboratively to deliver on all tasks
  • Assists the Manager in delivering accurate, punctual and high quality pre-, mid- and post- campaign reporting for the client across all relevant channels
  • Drives an agenda of inter-agency collaboration to achieve clients’ results
  • Assists in the development of proposals and agency reviews by creating plans, points of view, written summaries, and client presentations
  • Analyses market research and study demographic data of a wide range of media vehicles to determine the most effective approach to reach target audience
  • Represents client and agency to the media community in a consistently respectful and professional manner
  • Communicates with media representatives on behalf of our clients to negotiate the best placement, highest value, and optimal use of budgeted funds
  • Assists in preparing media plan options, analyses and recommendations based on strategic direction provided
  • Assists to implement plan and maintain budget control throughout entire process
  • 100% proficiency and accuracy with all financials, budget control, account queries, loading MI’s and proformas.

Qualifications

  • 18 months- 2 years experience media planning/trading in an agency environment
  • Developing media buying/negotiation skills across channels
  • Basic understanding of all implementation and buying systems (BCC, eTam, Asteroid, eRam, Move)
  • Develops an understanding of all media channels, with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each channel and the impact these have in delivering on the client objectives
  • Critical analysis of all survey/market data ensuring informed buying decisions
  • Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Basic understanding all key mediums and how the marketplace impacts media buys
  • Can gain insights from competitive data and understand the impact on our client’s business, looking for insights that will guide the media strategy
  • Laterally thinking about the potential solution to a request or client issue
  • Ability to effectively communicate – written and verbal
  • Starts to develop presentation skills
  • Problem solving mentality
  • Ability to manage a broad scope of tasks and manage time & workload to deliver on deadlines
  • Shows initiative and seeks out new projects and tasks whenever possible.
