Summary: We are working on surfacing the best content on our platform, and are looking for a talented Content Curator to help us do this work. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of all social media formats; a demonstrated understanding of social conversations and how they attract public engagement; and a broad interest in popular forms of both news and online culture. Experience in content marketing, moderating internet culture, and a strong grasp of how popular content captures public attention will set the ideal candidate up for success in this role. We’re looking for people with a proven ability to identify human interest stories — as they’re happening or ahead of the curve. A background in social media management, community management, digital journalism, or content marketing is a plus. Candidates should have the proven ability to work quickly under pressure, to make smart editorial decisions, and to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and global colleagues.Required Skills: Content Curator Responsibilities:Review and curate credible stories from a diverse set of content, including breaking news, daily and weekly cultural events, top discussions across FB, and user-generated content
Identify online trends and news, including emerging memes and cultural conversations
Capture and highlight the best content from a wide range of topics, including pop culture, celebrities, sports, animals, food, etc.
Help shape editorial strategy and support roadmap for scaling content quality
Analyze data to inform popular online conversation strategy
Collaborate with our product teams to improve user experience and internal tools
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:BA/BS degree or 5+ years of equivalent editorial experience
5+ years of work experience, including experience in news and a proven track record of editorial judgment
Experience working within social media or digital news
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Content marketing background with specific focus on highlighting user experiences in the form of customer stories, testimonials, etc.
