To support this mission, Syngenta’s Crop Protection Team is seeking Digital Agronomy Specialist in Pretoria, South Africa. This is a 12 months fixed term role that will be responsible for leading the strategy for adoption and growth of digital agronomy services in the region, engaging with key stakeholders to drive implementation and success. The successful candidate will provide support to clients using Syngenta’s farm management and field monitoring platform.Accountabilities: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote adoption of digital solutionsConducting regular stakeholder analysis and engagement planningOrganizing and leading workshops, demonstrations and training sessions to showcase the value of digital agronomy servicesOnboarding new users onto the platform, setting up their accounts and providing training on how to use the platformVisiting farms to draw up field boundaries, gather field boundary data and inputting it into the platformProviding ongoing support to users, answering questions and troubleshooting any issues that they may haveSupporting the current Cropwise team on an ad-hoc basis
