Volt is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to work onsite at our client’s facility in Rapid City, SD. This is a contingent position forecasted for one year. Within this role, you will create or modify 3D models and engineering drawings for use in manufacturing.
Education: Technical school diploma or certificate in Computer Aided Drafting (or 5+ years of Computer Aided Drafting experience); AAS degree in Computer Aided Drafting preferred
Required Skills:

• Experience with CAD software
• Basic Microsoft Office and Windows knowledge
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Preferably PTC Creo)
• Good mechanical aptitude and 3D spatial awareness
• Experience with GD&T
• Experience with sheetmetal design/manufacturing, and/or welding/fabrication experience

This position is located in Rapid City, SD. Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.
Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
