About Badlands National Park:
The rugged beauty of the Badlands draws visitors from around the world. These striking geologic deposits contain one of the world’s richest fossil beds.Ancient horses and rhinos once roamed here. The park’s 244,000 acres protect an expanse of mixed-grass prairie where bison, bighorn sheep, prairiedogs, and black-footed ferrets live today.
The Badlands Inn is open seasonally from mid-May through mid-October. The inn offers twenty rooms in a two-story building with all rooms fullyrenovated with all-new hardwood floors, interior and exterior paint, flat-screen televisions, andbedding. TheBadlands Inn is ideally located a short milefrom the Ben Reifel Visitor Centerand Cedar Pass Lodge and Restaurant.
Cedar Pass Lodge was originally built in 1928 to include the dining room, the Historic Cabins, and a counter for curios.Today Cedar Pass Lodge stillembodies the 1928 spirit with the same modernized amenitiesincluding afull-servicerestaurant, gift shop, cabins, and campground.
