The primary responsibilities of ensuring the safe, operational condition of vessels in accordance with U.S.C.G. regulations typically include:Perform maintenance including but is not limited to diesel engines, reduction gears, electrical, hydraulic, sanitary, and pneumatic systems, deck related repairs, shop tooling and company vehicles.Complete vessel projects and repairs.Maintain tools, parts & supplies. Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues and perform needed repairs.Complete and report vessel condition surveys.Maintain a clean and safe environment within the Facilities and on Vessels.Promote and demonstrate commitment to safety, environmental, and customer service excellence.
