This role has a 2.9.2 appointment in terms of the MHSA, Act of 1996:Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Maintain, install and commission the of the machinery and equipment to an agreed standard in the area of responsibility.Attend and conduct Safety meetingConducts and participate in Risk assessmentsComply to environmental requirementsExercise judgment with regards to replacement of componentsMaintains a high quality of workCompleting job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s)Support, coach and participate in the training and development of subordinates and apprenticesResponsible for maintenance and inspections on chairliftsResponsible for maintenance and inspection of lifting equipment on the storesPerforming work to the required standards and specificationsApplying appropriate tools to complete tasks
