Position Purpose
Fabricate and repair plastic injection and zinc die cast molds & stamping dies
Perform general Tool & Die while supporting the production areas
Operate CNC machine
Fabricate and maintain assembly equipment with jigs and fixtures
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Fabricate and repair plastic injection, molds, and stamping dies
Support all areas of the plant with Tool & Die abilities
General machining, grinding, and preventative maintenance of the tools and equipment
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Good attention to detail
Able to work with others in a team effort and on your own
Self-motivated
Read part prints
Experience in CAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Cam Tool
Qualifications / Prior Experience
High school diploma
Two year degree in Tool & Die
Tool & Die experience a plus
CNC machine knowledge beneficial
EDM and Sinker knowledge beneficial
Hole popper
EIQ experience is beneficial
Work Environment / Other Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time
The work performed is conducted in a climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that are within OSHA limits. PPE requirements include: safety glasses and steel toe shoes
