Due to retirement, Cooperative Energy Company, one of the largest and most successful energy co-ops in the Midwest, is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join their team in the Sibley, IA area.
If you have at least 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, a valid CDL, are looking for a long-term career, and able to pass a background check and drug screen, then this is an opportunity you need to explore! CDL A is preferred, but CDL B also qualifies.

Essential duties/responsibilities:
Overhaul and repair heavy duty engines including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Paccar engines.
Repair clutches, transmissions, differentials, power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
Install engines, transmissions, and other components.
Interact with customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
Provide instructions and guidance to helpers and apprentices as required.
Maintain good customer relations and performance standards.
Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of the shop area.
