You’ll lead, mentor, and support our technicians while monitoring high-volume workloads to keep our customers on the road.This position will work first shift with some Saturdays.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Lead & Mentor: Provide hands-on support, technical expertise, and constructive feedback to help technicians excel in their roles. Foster a positive, collaborative shop environment that promotes growth and teamwork.Set the Standard: Exhibit outstanding work habits, hold team members accountable for high-quality repairs, and set an example of professionalism, efficiency, and safety.Manage Workflow: Assign jobs based on technician skill level and workload, ensuring efficient shop operations and timely repairs. Proactively monitor repair progress and work closely with the Service Dispatcher to prevent delays and optimize scheduling.Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized shop and enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OEM guidelines to create a safe work environment.Customer Interaction: Act as a technical expert when communicating with customers, explaining complex repairs in a way that builds trust and ensures clarity.Training & Development: Keep the team up to date with technical advancements, product updates, and OEM training to enhance their skills and expertise. Conduct weekly team huddles to provide important updates and foster open communication.Monitor Shop Resources: Oversee shop tools, equipment, and inventory, ensuring everything is in proper working condition and readily available for use. Address any deficiencies to maintain efficiency.
