Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients, our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks, fintech’s and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers.We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Payments squad As one of Australia’s largest independent providers of real-time payment solutions, our Payments team have the expertise, scale and infrastructure to maximise every opportunity the New Payments Platform (NPP) offers. The Business Analyst is a key role for the delivery of real-time payment solutions that enable our clients (banks, payment service providers (PSPs) and corporates) to process payments on behalf of their customers. The responsibilities of the role include: Eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders, not simply their expressed desires   Working as part of the Development Team to assess solution proposals and establish which will most effectively business needs  Facilitating effective communications between organisational business units   Aligning the needs of the business unit with the capabilities delivered by information technology (i.e., serve as the translator between those groups)   Defining and validating solutions that meet business needs  Working collaboratively with the Product Owners to ensure that sprint goals are met. About You:  As a Business Analyst, you will have the following skills and experience: Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry within Financial Services sector   At least 3 years' experience in Payments projects (either Real Time or Batch), exposure to modern payment solutions eg. NPP & PayTo is highly regarded Good understanding of PCI  And experience and or skills in the following technology:  Strong skills with MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Visio    Competent in BPMN, UC, SQL, XML, AS2805, ISO20022, Jira & confluence    Good business planning, analytical and conceptual skills   Competent with Atlassian tool set Why Cuscal?
