As our Connectivity Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for directly engaging with key customers on connectivity opportunities and supporting our Sales team. You’ll do this by understanding the Customer’s challenges and collaboratively designing solutions with NEXTDC’s connectivity product set. You’ll also solve challenges and engage internally with a wide range of stakeholders including NEXTDC Sales, Facilities and Engineering and other key internal and external stakeholders.  What you’ll do:Establish strong relationships with key technical contacts in strategic Customer organisations leading to increased NEXTDC connectivity salesBuild relationships with key connectivity partners (AI / Cloud / Carriers & Ecosystem partners) to enhance the NEXTDC’s connectivity offering by expanding connectivity options (e.g. Increasing AXON ecosystem providers)Creatively solve customer challenges within the parameters of NEXTDC’s connectivity product set and aiding network design and architectureProvide deep technical assistance to the Sales team to close connectivity opportunitiesProvide high quality customer proposals including network diagramsSuccessfully hand over closed opportunities to the NEXTDC delivery teamsThe break down of responsibilities will be split:60% - Sale of connectivity solutions to partners and end customers 30% - Recruitment of new service providers into the NEXTDC connectivity ecosystem10% - High level product management responsibilitiesWhat you’ll bring:Strong knowledge of Sales, Connectivity and Data Centre solutions and operations Knowledge of design principles for data centre, cloud computing and connectivity solutionsAbility to write well-structured reports with clear, logical and succinct languageAbility to develop well-structured presentations with informative and well-presented information appropriate for the desired audienceHigh level of professionalism, attention to details and problem-solving skills Well-developed interpersonal, communication & presentation skills Ability to interact with customers and all levels of the organisationExcellent ability to work in a team spanning multiple disciplinesAbility to use online tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Office365 and similar
