As our Sales Manager, you’ll be at the front line of that mission, playing a key role in generating business, building partnerships, and turning leads into long-term relationships. Working closely with the Commercial Director and Revenue team, you’ll champion everything that makes 25hours different. From our vibrant hotel spaces to our buzzing restaurants and cultural programming, making sure we’re top-of-mind for clients, agencies, and collaborators across Sydney and beyond.This is your daily contribution to make 25hours The Olympia the most talked-about destination Lead proactive sales activity across the hotel, creating demand for rooms, groups, meetings, events and F&B;Own agreed market segments either in full or through an established account list;Proactively develop business across designated segments including but not limited to corporate negotiated, MICE, entertainment, wholesale, leisure, luxury consortia and strategic agency relationships;Develop and maintain strategic account plans covering production, opportunity, key contacts, activity, next steps and total account value;Prospect and acquire new accounts, including competitor accounts, high-value SMEs, dormant accounts and new market opportunities;Lead key RFP/RFI, preferred partner and consortia opportunities in conjunction with the Commercial Director and Revenue team;Build relationships with travel managers, tour managers, promoters, producers, PCOs, TMCs, wholesalers, luxury advisors and other decision makers relevant to the hotel;Generate proactive MICE, group and entertainment opportunities that combine accommodation, event space and F&B where relevant;Plan and execute client appointments, sales calls, famils, site inspections, agency visits, trade events, networking and client entertaining;Work closely with Revenue teams to ensure account pricing, offers and need-period activity are commercially appropriate and support total hotel performance;Sell the whole hotel and maximise total customer value across rooms, F&B, meetings, events and ancillary spend.Maintain accurate account, activity and opportunity records within the hotel’s sales systems and ensure relevant account information is current;Provide a weekly sales activity report covering client engagement, prospecting, sales calls, account plan progress, new opportunities, account production, key follow-up actions and upcoming activity.
