Set up and operate manual machine tools such as lathes and milling machines
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts
Study drawings, and specifications to determine the best machining methods
Measure and examine completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications
Adjust machine settings for different materials and finishes
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
