Here you will provide a strong business partnership with our manufacturing stakeholders surrounding budgets, projections, and cost-reduction initiatives.Who we want

What you will do

Ensure product cost activities completed on a daily basis. Consists of determining that all the necessary information is in the system (bill of material, router, etc.), and then "rolling" the cost in JDE. Communicate with Purchasing to ensure new purchased parts and materials have the correct value

Oversees Closing activities including, but not limited to, ensuring that all monthly queries are submitted accurately and timely, and the preparation of various journal entries to close

Prepares weekly Reporting for various plant metrics, Raw Material, Component, and WIP details, and any other reports needed on a weekly basis

Assists with the reviews and analyses of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts as well as monthly operating results

Review system documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of costs across all product families

Assists with annual updating of standard costs. Providing analysis throughout the process

Analyze and research significant fluctuations of current costs and variances to ensure the accuracy of the future annual cost effort. Making recommendations on resolution.

Partners with other Costing team members various manufacturing duties

Follow good accounting practices in alignment with internal and external audit requirements

May lead the completion of projects or assignments including planning assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.

What you need

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA a plus

4+ years of experience in increasing responsibility in accounting and/or finance

Strong business, financial, and technical cost accounting acumen skills

Knowledge of US GAAP

Self-motivated, highly organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

JD Edwards and AS400 system experience use is preferred
