CereCore is seeking a Platform Engineer (SCCM)- Entry to join our team .

Responsibilities:

  • Design, test, and deploy technically complex SCCM applications
  • Create and maintain a large portfolio of SCCM operating system deployments
  • Ensure system and application logs, reports, and dashboards are reviewed to proactively avoid issue and outages
  • Create, deploy, and manage enterprise group policy objects and login scripts
  • Test and deploy business software packages and updates to all endpoint devices
  • Execute inventory management processes of end-user hardware and software assets
  • Create scripting solutions within PowerShell for various administrative needs
  • Assist senior level SCCM engineers on projects and support
  • Communicate and build relationships with corporate/field resources
  • Additional assignments assigned by manager
  • PC image builds, patch management, application packaging and distribution, operating system deployment (OSD), IT system security related issues, threat mitigation and reporting, analyzing data to spot trends, managing patches for software certifications, data collection and reporting
  • Implement, update, and maintain enterprise level configuration management
  • Analyze SCCM log files, provide patch management support, and off-hours maintenance windows.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software using SCCM Software Distribution and Task Sequence application tools
  • Prepare, test, and deploy software updates using SCCM Software Deployment Management tools

Requirements:
  • Strong imaging experience with SCCM
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technical services technology
  • Strong technical skills in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows (all versions), Microsoft Office suite, antivirus software, TCP/IP, encryption software, and imaging software as well as experience in troubleshooting peripherals and handheld devices
  • Strong understating of MDT, and Windows 10 servicing
  • Strong experience deploying and managing packages to a large infrastructure (30,000+ devices)
  • Strong understands of technical support processes and workflow
  • Understands pertinent HIPAA guidelines
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Strong demonstration of customer orientation
  • Experience using remote desktop management tools
  • Strong experience using an enterprise ticketing solution (Remedy experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of local area networks
  • Strong knowledge of IMAP, DLAP, Microsoft ActiveSync, Active Directory, Group Policy, WINS, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Strong fluency of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs
