Come join the funSUMMARY:An Event Day Security Officer for Security Engineers has the unique opportunity to provide safety, security and service to each and every guest that enters CHI Memorial Stadium. Event Day Security Officers will work in a variety of areas throughout the stadium and is expected to use their stadium knowledge and familiarity with CHI Memorial Stadium policies to create a culture and atmosphere that creates positive and memorable experiences for each guest.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome fans and guests with exceptional customer service and a smile from gates to end of event.
Ensure fans safety and security by conducting careful entry screening and inspections. This will include the tactful messaging of prohibited items or non-compliant bags that cannot be allowed into the stadium.
Scan tickets to verify authorized entry into CHI Memorial Stadium, resolve any ticket issues through appropriate escalation while ensuring the guest feels that they are receiving the necessary assistance to resolve their issues.
Ensure guests can enjoy their event experience by verifying that they are entering the correct section and seat (e.g. bowl, clubs, suites). Politely resolve seat disputes by identifying the proper seat location and assisting the guests on navigating to the proper location.
Make yourself available and visible to guests and provide assistance as needed including; directions, policy questions, service opportunities. Guest relationships and their overall experience is our top priority.
You must commit to safety by monitoring crowd activities and report any suspicious activity and/or behavior to your area supervisor.
Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

Ability to work full stadium events to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Some positions may require the repeated climbing of stairs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud/very loud on event days.
This position may require work in inclimate weather to include heat, cold, rain, snow.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Unarmed State of Tennessee Security License. If you do not have one we can provide the in-house training and certification.
