Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Service industry, located close to downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. The successful candidate will join our team to optimize our financial transactions and system, ensuring our company's financial operations run smoothly. Strong QuickBooks proficiency required! Responsibilities: Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for various accounting tasks. Handle the posting of accounts payable invoices. Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of an efficient filing system for accounting-related paperwork. Assist in the creation of purchase orders as required. Aid in the maintenance of customer and accounting records. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of quarterly reporting. Adhere to established regulations and standards for permitting (government work), exhibiting flexibility and a trainable mindset. Maintain an organized workspace and workflow to ensure efficient and accurate task completion. Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks to perform duties.Requirements Experience with QuickBooks software required!
