The role of the Senior Accountant will be to perform the analysis and reporting of financial results for the eviCore business operations. The individual should be results-oriented & enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Responsibilities:
Assist with audit and regulatory reporting and requirements, operational reporting to clients and internal business owners, as well as ad hoc reporting and process improvement project management
Work closely with our Healthcare Economics team, Informatics, and Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse to analyze and reconcile key financial reporting measurements
Analyze and record capitated contracts, including IBNR reserves setting, revenue recognition, membership eligibility reconciliation, and claims analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field; CPA preferred
4+ years' corporate accounting experience
Strong proficiency in general ledger accounting, full month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation
Managed care, insurance, or healthcare payor experience preferred
Excel experience; Great Plains and SQL experience a plus
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with lag models, IBNR calculations preferred
Problem solving and critical thinking skills & strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
