Description This search is being conducted by Kevin GreenWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Internal Auditor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for coordinating audit activities for the annual financial statement audit, assisting in the development and maintenance of accounting policies, and aiding in the preparation of lender financial statements and external reporting. This role also includes technical accounting functions.Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage audit activities for the annual financial statement audit Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures Ensure compliance with accounting standards through ongoing technical research and advice Assist with purchase accounting for new acquisitions, including preparation of opening balance sheets and auditor review Prepare consolidated financial statements for external reporting Use accounting software systems to manage and organize data Develop audit plans and programs to ensure a thorough and efficient audit process Address audit findings and make recommendations based on the results Maintain internal control to ensure compliance and accuracy in the financial statement auditRequirements Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry Holds a relevant qualification in Auditing or a related field Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Audit Programs Capable of comprehensively documenting Audit Findings Extensive knowledge and experience in Auditing Proven track record of creating and executing Audit Plans Experience in conducting Financial Audits Strong understanding and application of Internal Control mechanisms Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
