Our client is currently implementing the eCommerce platform by Documoto - completely web based. Looking for someone who has experience with Documoto or a similar SAAS. Ecommerce experience is a plus and so is Manufacturing experience
ABOUT THE POSITION
The eParts & eCommerce SME is part of the team responsible for Oracle CX portfolio projects. This position will report to the eParts & eCommerce Value Stream Owner (VSO). This key position will be relied upon as the principal subject matter expert for the administrative functionality of the Documoto eParts/eCommerce implementation and post implementation maintenance.
The position will elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and document the stated and implicit needs of Astec and outside users of the platform. He or she will serve as a liaison between the project team and its stakeholders to define business and system processes through workflows and written requirements. This will include developing current and future state data and process maps and identifying gaps and remediation plans with the new systems. The Oracle CX SME will also be assigned as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and functional leader on this global project's team representing these specific functional areas.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary system administrator and administration SME for Documoto.
Own any software performance issues or issues reported by internal or external users for internal resolution and escalation with Documoto support.
Own configuration and maintenance of user administration and content distribution.
Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, setup, issue resolutions, integrations, customizations, etc.
Develop and maintain documentation for content publication, naming and tagging strategies.
Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations to address evolving business needs.
Develop reporting capabilities and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for platform users.
Collaborate with various business units to identify and proactively address user needs.
Responsible for ongoing training in accordance with software improvements and upgrades.
Help manage integrations of other internal systems to ensure data consistency and integrity.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
Experience in a customer facing role with Astec or other industrial / construction equipment OEM (original equipment manufacturers).
Demonstrated technical aptitude for, and experience supporting, web-based applications or SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.
Ability to understand and manage basic user permissions and security settings.
Proven ability to understand business processes and their relationship with application functionality.
Able to identify and solicit feedback from affected positions within Astec.
Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues pertaining to basic computer usage, internet connectivity, or other basic SaaS issues.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
Must be able to solve problems at both a strategic and tactical level.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required.
Must be able to work well within and across functional teams.
Strong ability to facilitate and lead meetings and discussions.
The ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited resources may exist is required.
