Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the direction of the head chef
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Help with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed
- Clean and organize workstations and equipment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food quality, sanitation, and safety
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dietary aide, culinary assistant, or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic knife skills are a plus
